AONS 3rd Asian Oncology Nursing Conference Successfully Held in Beijing
The 3rd Asian Oncology Nursign Conference was successfully held on 23-24 September 2017 at Beijign International Convention Center, China. Jiontly organized by the Asian Oncoglgy Nursing Society(AONS), the Chinese Nursing Association, and the Chineses Journal of Nursing, the conference brought together more than 400 onclogy nursing experts, scholars, and representatives from 12 countries and regions across Asia,Highlighting the scale, influence, and international significance of the remarkable event.

Under the theme of "Inovation, Collaboration, and Development", the conference served as a high-level academic platform for oncology nurses across Asia to exchage knowledge, share best practices, and explore future direcions for cancer nursing. The opening ceremony marked an inspiring start to the conference. Professor Winnie So, President of AONS, welcomed participants and reflected on the achievements and future directions of oncology nursing in Asia, emphasizing the importance of excellence, innovation, and collaboration. Distinguished leaders also delivered congratulatory remarks, including Professor Stella Bialous, President of the International Society of Nurses in Cancer Care (ISNCC), and Professor Sanchia Aranda, President of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), both of whom highlighted the value of international partnership in advancing cancer nursign and improving patient outcomes. On behalf of the Chinese Nursing Association, Professor Liu Huaping, Executive Vice President of the Chinese Nursing Association, extended a warm welcom to all delegates and encouraged oncology nurses to work together to promote the development on oncology nursing across Aisa.
The Scientific program was rich, diverse, and forward-looking. Renowned speakers from Asia and beyond delivered kenote presentations on a weide range of important topics, including the status of cancer care, tobacco control, and the future of oncology nursing research in Asia. These sessions offered participants valuable insights into current trends, key challenges, and emerging opportunities in the field.

In addition, dozens of oral presentations created a dynamic environment for academic discussion and professional exchange.
Throughout the two-day event, all sessions were well attanded, and the atmmsphere remained hight enthusiastic. The conference not only showcased the latest achievements and cutting-edge perspectives in oncology nursing, but also strenthened friendships, mutual learning, and collaborarion among oncology nursing professional in Asia. Participants gaind new knowledge, broadened their perspectives, and were encouraged to future promote excellence in clinical practice, education, research, and leadership.
